Jane Fonda giving Jennifer Lopez some astrological guidance in the movie “This Is Me… Now”.
Jane In Jennifer Lopez’s expansive new Prime film “This Is Me… Now,” there’s a reunion akin to that of “Monster in Law.” In the film, which serves as a visual complement to Jennifer Lopez’s ninth studio album “This Is Me… Now,” Jane Fonda makes a memorable cameo appearance as a member of the “Zodiacal Council,” a celestial being that watches the life of Lopez’s main character from above. On Friday, the movie and record made their premieres.
Jane and other celebrities that make cameo appearances on Fonda’s “Council” include Post Malone, Kim Petras, Sofía Vergara, Keke Palmer, Jay Shetty, Jenifer Lewis, Sadhguru, and Trevor Noah.
The 2005 comedy “Monster in Law,” which also starred Wanda Sykes and was a box office hit, marked Fonda’s comeback to filmmaking after a protracted hiatus.
Based on her own experiences, Lopez portrays the Artist in “This Is Me… Now,” a film about a creative individual searching for true love following three divorces. The songs from her new album are interwoven into musical scenes in the film.
The film also stars Fat Joe and Ben Affleck, who happens to be Lopez’s husband. In “This Is Me… Now,” Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford can also be seen in archive footage from the 1973 film “The Way We Were.”
Right now, Prime Video is offering “This Is Me… Now” for streaming. On February 27, Lopez will also make available on the streaming platform an accompanying documentary called “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”
As if that weren’t enough, the celebrity also revealed this week that she will be embarking on a summer tour.
